Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

The short version

  • This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.
  • We do not sell your personal information. Not now, not ever.
  • We only receive information you deliberately send us, such as an email.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
  • Gallery submissions must be sent by an adult, and we ask that artwork contain nothing that identifies a child.

The rest of this page is the detail behind those five sentences.

1. Who we are

Finish-Me™ is a coloring book series created by Alisa Roberts, a sole proprietor based in the State of Indiana, United States. Alisa Roberts is the operator of this website and is responsible for the information described in this policy.

You can reach us at support@finishme.art. We answer every message.

2. What this website collects on its own

Almost nothing, and we want to be specific about it.

  • No cookies. This site does not set cookies.
  • No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising tag, and no session recording of any kind.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no passwords to store.
  • No local storage. The site does not save anything in your browser.

If that changes, this page changes first, and section 10 explains how we will tell you.

3. What we receive when you contact us

There are two ways you can deliberately send us information, and both of them are you choosing to contact us directly.

Email

If you email support@finishme.art, we receive whatever you put in that email, including your address and any attachment. We use it to read what you sent and to reply. That is the entire purpose, and you will not be added to a mailing list.

There is deliberately no contact form on this site. A form would route your message through a third-party company before it reached us. A plain email address does not, so that is what we use.

Social media

If you message us on Instagram or TikTok, that conversation lives on their platform under their privacy policy, not ours.

4. Gallery submissions

The Finish-Me™ gallery features finished pages that people send in. You can upload artwork directly on the gallery page, or send it by email or social media message. Every submission is reviewed by a person before it appears anywhere.

If you upload on the website, this is everything we receive:

  • The image you chose
  • The comment you typed
  • A name or nickname, only if you type one. You can tick a box to post with no name at all
  • Which volume the page came from

There is no email field and there never will be. We do not ask for your email, your real name, your age, or your location, and there is nowhere on this site to enter them.

Two technical notes, because they are the honest full picture:

  • Photo location data is removed before the photo leaves your device. Phone cameras store GPS coordinates inside image files. Your browser redraws the picture before uploading it, which strips that out. Your home address cannot travel inside a photo of a coloring page.
  • We store a one way fingerprint made from your network address and browser. It exists only to stop one person rating the same artwork over and over, and to limit how many pieces one person can send in a day. It cannot be turned back into your address, it is never displayed, and it is never linked to anything identifying.

Your receipt code. When you upload, we give you a short code such as FM-A1B2-C3D4. Keep it. If you ever want your artwork removed, email that code to support@finishme.art and we will take it down. The code exists so you can prove a piece is yours without us ever holding your name or your email address.

Watermark. Published artwork carries a small finishme.art mark. Please understand the limits of this honestly: a watermark travels with the file, but anyone can still screenshot or save any image they can see on a screen, on any website. We cannot prevent that and we will not pretend we can.

If you send artwork by email or social media instead, we receive the image file, your message, and the email address or social handle you sent it from, because that is how those services work.

Three rules protect everyone here:

  • Submissions must be sent by an adult aged 18 or over. If a child colored the page, a parent or guardian sends it in on their behalf.
  • Please do not include anything identifying. Photograph the artwork only. No faces, no full names, no school names, no addresses, nothing visible in the background that identifies where someone lives.
  • Nothing is published automatically. A human reviews every submission first, and we will decline anything that appears to identify a child.

If we publish your artwork, we display it with a first name or a handle only if you asked us to. Otherwise it is posted without any name attached.

You can ask us to take your submission down at any time, for any reason, by emailing us with your receipt code. We will remove it promptly and confirm when it is gone. When we remove a piece, the image file is deleted, not hidden.

5. Children's privacy (COPPA)

We take this seriously, because a coloring book is exactly the kind of thing a child uses.

We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. The website itself collects nothing automatically, and the only paths that could carry personal information are gallery submissions, which are directed to adults, and the optional name field, which nobody has to fill in.

The book itself is for everyone. A child can read it, color in it, and enjoy it without ever giving us a single piece of information, because none of that involves this website.

Parents and guardians: if you believe your child has sent us personal information, email support@finishme.art with the word CHILD in the subject line. We will locate it, delete it, and confirm the deletion to you. You do not need to explain yourself and we will not ask you to prove anything beyond what is necessary to find the record.

6. Who else is involved

Running a website means other companies are necessarily part of it. These are all of ours, what each one does, and where their own privacy policies live. We do not send any of them information about you beyond what is unavoidable in serving a web page.

CompanyWhat it does for usTheir policy
VercelHosts the website. Sees the IP address of every visitor as a normal part of serving pages.Policy
Google FontsServes the typeface used on the site.Policy
WordPress.comRegistrar for the finishme.art domain name.Policy

If we ever add another service, it gets added to this table before it goes live.

7. We do not sell your information

We have never sold personal information and we will not. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or list buyers. We do not use it to train anything. The only reason we would ever hand over information is if a valid legal order required it, and we would tell you unless legally prohibited from doing so.

8. How long we keep things

WhatHow long
Messages you send us24 months, then deleted
Email correspondence24 months after the conversation ends
Published gallery submissionsUntil you ask us to remove it
Declined gallery submissionsDeleted within 30 days of the decision
Anything a parent asks us to deleteDeleted immediately on request

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email us and ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, send you a copy, or delete it. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to access it, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive a portable copy, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right exists and we honor the rest of it in full.

If you are in the EU or the UK

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR and UK GDPR. Our lawful basis for handling feedback and submissions is your consent, given when you choose to send them, and you may withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

One honest note: this site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google when a page loads. If you would rather that did not happen, a content blocker will stop it, and the site will still work.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, meaning a change to what we collect or who we share it with, we will update the date at the top of this page and post a notice on the home page for at least 30 days before it takes effect. Minor wording fixes will just update the date.

11. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. It stores no passwords and processes no payments, so there is no card data or credential to lose. Submissions we receive by email live in a password-protected mailbox.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If you find a security or privacy problem with this site, please tell us at support@finishme.art and we will respond within five business days.
